Self Portraits

Well since I've had a lot of homework lately, I've been able to do a lot of editing because whenever I should be writing an essay, I always find something else to do. Plus, I just got Photoshop on my laptop (I know, I know, I'm in the big leagues now!) and it is just far too much fun to play with. I kind of love the lighting simplicity in these shots. Let me know what you think!

We shape our buildings

Umm, excuse me sir, do you have a uterus?
By far, my favorite room at the Canadian War Museum in Ottawa.

Off Guard

Thanks to some of my favorite pretty people for putting up with my sometimes constant picture taking!

Kermit the Katydid

I hate having one-photo posts but I took this today and simply couldn't wait to start editing. This is Kermit the 2nd (the katydid and the frog wear similar outfits), he/she has been a housemate of mine for almost a week now since I've been unable to persuade him/her to go back outside. I have a feeling he/she is supposed to represent a metaphorical message to me; I just haven't figured it out yet!

Religion

Well, I've been meaning to post these for a while now! Once again for our final art projects, we were given the choice to do pretty much anything we wanted as long as it corresponded with the theme: religion. The first few shots are the ones that I Photoshopped and handed in for the project. I also included the unedited versions and some of the other ones that I liked. It was definitely an interesting idea for the shoot! Thank you Erik, for being my model :)

Well now that people are looking at my blog...

One of many perks of living on the St. Lawrence

I found this on my hard drive today, what a weird kid. Even though it's a strange selfie, I love this: my skills must be rubbing off on him ;)

It's not the best picture but I met this amazing woman on the train this afternoon. Her fabulous Armani glasses caught my eye so I asked her if I could take her picture. She was flattered and started telling me the story of how she purchased the glasses in Mexico. What a great story teller!

Spontaneity Killed the Cat

My favorite new thing is spontaneous portraiture, here's a little sample of it for you.
